During our participation in The Dallas Art Fair, the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) acquired the work “Untitled (Laborer)”, 2022 by Kaloki Nyamai to be added to the museum’s permanent collection. The acquisition is funded by the sixth Dallas Art Fair Foundation Acquisition Program. We are very grateful for the selection by the DMA’s Hoffman Family Senior Curator of Contemporary Art Dr. Anna Katherine Brodbeck, Lupe Murchison Curator of Contemporary Art Dr. Vivian Li, Interim Chief Curator and The Barbara Thomas Lemmon Senior Curator of European Art Dr. Nicole R. Myers, and a group of fund donors.
