In conjunction with the Dallas Art Fair 2022, Emerging Collective (EC) will host a panel featuring Kaloki Nyamai on live stream from the Kenyan Pavilion at Venice Biennial, Dallas-based curator and writer Laurie Ann Farrell, and EC founder Raj Udeshi. Join us for a lively breakfast discussion on African Diaspora and learn what Gobal South narratives featured at this year's Biennale. The talk will focus on this part of the world as it is a narrative that is frequently overshadowed, yet plays such a vital component within the world. We’ll explore what this means to Kaloki and how it resonates on a Western platform like the Venice Biennale. Several of Kaloki's works will be on display at the event in a private downtown loft, on loan from local collectors and Nyamai’s gallery Keijsers Koning.
